New Year, New You

Reinvent Your Whole Look at Warehouse Row

There are myriad ways for us to reinvent ourselves, and change is beautiful be it physical or otherwise. Whether you’re embarking on a new chapter of life, going through a breakup (we’ve all been there), or just needing a change, refreshing your look is a great way to invest in yourself and boost your own self confidence. The way we look can have a great impact on the way we feel, so why not make an effort to look your very best? And if you’re ready for a 2023 makeover, Amelia B. can attest that you can do it all at Warehouse Row.

Amelia, 22, recently wrapped her college career and secured her first job as a graphic designer at Maycreate, a Chattanooga advertising agency. After packing up and leaving her home in Alabama, renting her first solo apartment, and starting her new design position, the time was right for Amelia to adopt a more polished and professional look that better aligned with the life she was beginning to build.

Hair That’s a Cut Above

Amelia’s makeover journey began with a hair transformation at Wild Honey Hair Studio, a salon located right inside Warehouse Row specializing in low-maintenance, lived-in color services. As it had been more than a year since Amelia’s long locks had been trimmed, she was fully on board for a hefty chop. Wild Honey stylist, Taylor Woodman, suggested taking six inches off the total length with some face-framing layers and a golden-honey balayage to add subtle dimension to the hair. The results took Amelia’s overall look up a few notches, and left her with hair that’s healthier, more stylish, and easier to manage. The best part? Upkeep for this low-maintenance style only requires two appointments a year. Contact Wild Honey to schedule your own hair transformation today!

Your Best Face Forward

The next stop for Amelia’s Warehouse Row makeover was the Cosmetic Market where manager and cosmetics maven, Kerry Frank, talked her through some skin care tips and helped her create a makeup look that worked perfectly for daytime, but could also transition well to night for after-work drinks or a fun evening date.

Amelia traditionally wears minimal makeup, generally just foundation and mascara. The updated look Kerry created for her was a little more involved but still easy to recreate using blush, bronzer, and highlighter to accentuate her bone structure, a glossy lip, and a focus on her eyes with shadow, liner and underliner, and, of course, mascara. She also used a brow pencil to create a stronger browline. With the whole look completed, Amelia was ready to take on the world. If you want to up your skin care and makeup game, you too can get tips and tricks from the amazing staff at Cosmetic Market. Call them today to make your appointment. Well Suited for the Workplace

With fresh hair and make up perfectly achieved, it was time for Amelia to find a few outfits to elevate her personal style. She started at the trendy boutique Embellish where the team helped outfit her in an impeccable white linen suit with embroidered details. This ensemble was flattering and professional with just enough edge to highlight Amelia’s creative spirit– the perfect blend of polished and unexpected for a budding designer in the agency world.

Casually Put-Together

Amelia’s next stop was another Warehouse Row boutique, Hemline, where she found an outfit that was equal parts dressed down and stylish. A cropped non-stretch grey denim paired well with a chunky-knit neon green sweater with bell sleeve details. Black boots, a crossbody bag, and gold chain earrings completed a look great for bopping around town, running errands, or coffee hangs with friends.

Hurry Up and Date

Being new to the area, Amelia’s last two looks were date-night inspired so she’d be ready to hit the town whenever she meets someone new. Each date look, styled by the team at Anthropologie, invited Amelia to play with different sides of her fun personality. The first look was a little edgier, pairing a leather jacket with a patterned wide-leg jumpsuit softened by a stylish headband and dangly gold earrings. The second look featured a flirty red dress with an A-line skirt, tie straps, and pockets (yes, pockets!) over a long-sleeved lace top. Both outfits would be ideal for dinner and drinks and a night on the town with a new flame.
